1Accounting Policies

Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities effective April 2008.

Other accounting policies
Accounting Policy
The company acts as trustee of a statutory trust in respect of service charge monies collected for the
maintenance of properties at 3 Albion Terrace (Bath) Management Limited. The companies accounting policy is to exclude these funds from the company's accounts as separate service charge accounts are prepared and certified. The company was dormant throughout the period ended 30 April 2014. However reference to information relating to the prior period has been made where appropriate.
Service Charges
The company responsible for the management of properties at 3 Albion Terrace (Bath) Management Limited and collects service charges from the lessees in order to fund expenditure incurred in the management of the property. These service charge funds are held in trust for the lessees in order to fund expenditure incurred in the management of the property. These service charge funds are held in trust for the lessees as required by the Landlord & Tenant Act 1987. Transactions relating to the management of the property are reported separately to the lessees and are excluded from the company's financial statement.
