As a result of the Covid-19 outbreak of spring 2020, the associated company, Heat Group (UK) Limited, encountered severe financial difficulties due to the immediate contraction of activities upon the country being placed into emergency lockdown to control the spread of the virus. This resulted in Heat Group (UK) entering into insolvency proceedings likely to conclude in the liquidation of that company. Consequently, the value of the investment into Heat Group (UK) Limited is now considered negligible. The investment in the associate has therefore been written down in these accounts to the amount received by dividend from that company in the quarter to 31 December 2019 prior to the commencement of the Covid-19 pandemic and resultant finacial difficulties.

HGUK Investments Limited is a private company limited by shares incorporated in England and Wales. The registered office is Lancaster House, 87 Yarmouth Road, Norwich, Norfolk, NR7 0HF.

For the Period ended 30 September 2019 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the Period in question in accordance with section 476.

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the micro-entity provisions and in accordance with FRS 105 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable to the Micro-entities Regime' and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.
