1. Accounting policies

Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts

The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standards for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008).

Turnover policy

Turnover represent fees paid by attendees at the events and contributions made by third parties towards the objectives of the company (namely the promotion of and provision of educational programming on business in the UK and internationally) and is recognised on the basis provided, or as decided from time to time by the directors as a contribution towards the objectives.

3. Creditors: amounts falling due within one year

Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the balance sheet date.
