1. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
Accounting convention |
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the |
Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008). |
Turnover |
Turnover represents net invoiced sales of goods, excluding value added tax. |
Stocks |
Stocks are valued at the lower of cost and net realisable value, after making due allowance for obsolete and slow |
moving items. |
Deferred tax |
Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the |
balance sheet date. |
Hire purchase and leasing commitments |
Rentals paid under operating leases are charged to the profit and loss account on a straight line basis over the |
period of the lease. |

The director is aware that at 30 June 2015 the companies liabilities exceeded its assets. He has considered the |
companys current trading position together with a forecast for the next 12 months and is confident that the |
trading position will improve. |
He has also pledged his ongoing support to the company and will not request repayment of the loan due to him |
until the company is in a position to do so. |
As a result of the above he considered the basis on which the financial statements have been prepared and is |
satisfied from his review that the going concern basis is appropriate. |
