1. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
Basis of preparing the financial statements |
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective January 2015) and the Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention. |
The company was dormant throughout the current and previous period. |
2. | SERVICE CHARGE ACCOUNT |
The company acts as a trustee in respect of the service charges monies it receives from the leaseholders by virtue |
of Section 42 of the Landlords and Tenants Act 1987. During the year net expenditure of £62,442 (2015 - |
£58,070) was recovered by way of service charge monies. The total amount of assets held in trust at the year end |
were £46,367 (2015 - £57,744). |
The company has not recognised any of the assets or liabilities, nor income and expenditure, in respect of the |
service charge monies as assets of the company in the accounts. |
3. | COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE |
Every member of the company undertakes to contribute such an amount as may be required (not exceeding £1) to |
the company's assets if it should be wound up while he or she is a member, or within one year after he or she |
ceased to be a member. |
