The directors present their report and accounts for the year ended 31 March 2017.
Principal activities
The company's principal activity during the year continued to be the management of properties at Bispham House, Lace Street, Liverpool L3 2BP.

The company has no income or expenditure in its own right, all transactions in the year being related to the upkeep and maintenance of the structure and the common parts of the property. Service charges collected are held on trust for the purpose of meeting the relevant costs in relation to the property in accordance with the provisions of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987.

In order to assist you to fulfil your duties under the Companies Act 2006, we have prepared for your approval the accounts of Bispham House Management Company Limited for the year ended 31 March 2017 which comprise of the Profit and Loss Account, the Balance Sheet and the related notes from the company’s accounting records and from information and explanations you have given us.
As a practising member firm of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, we are subject to its ethical and other professional requirements which are detailed at

This report is made solely to the Board of Directors of Bispham House Management Company Limited, as a body, in accordance with the terms of our engagement letter dated 8 August 2012. Our work has been undertaken solely to prepare for your approval the accounts of Bispham House Management Company Limited and state those matters that we have agreed to state to the Board of Directors of Bispham House Management Company Limited, as a body, in this report in accordance with AAF 2/10 as detailed at icaew.com/compilation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept or assume responsibility to anyone other than Bispham House Management Company Limited and its Board of Directors as a body for our work or for this report.

The company has no income or expenditure in its own right. All transactions in the year relate to the upkeep and maintenance of the structure and the common parts or the property. Income and expenditure arising from these transactions is shown in separate service charge accounts. The service charge accounts do not form part of the statutory annual accounts of the company and are not filed at Companies House. All service charge monies received from the members are held in trust to meet the ongoing expenditure requirements.
Certain items of expenditure are paid on behalf of the company by the members.
