1. Accounting policies

Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts

The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008).

Turnover policy

Turnover represents net invoiced sales of goods, including postage and packing charges, but excluding Value Added Tax.

Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

The Company has not capitalised any assets and has no charge for depreciation.

Intangible fixed assets amortisation policy

The Company has not capitalised any assets and has no charge for depreciation.

Valuation information and policy

Stock is valued at the lower of cost or net realisable value.

Other accounting policies

Operating lease payments are charged to the profit and loss account on a straight-line basis over the lease term and any incentives are amortised over the lesser of the life of the lease or the first opportunity for termination.
