Basis of preparation

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 Section 1A - 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland' and the Companies Act 2006.The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with FRS 105 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable to the Micro-entities Regime'.

2	Related party transactions

During the year S.M.L (Cleaning) Services had advanced Lewis (Cleaning) Services Ltd £3,200. As at the balance sheet date Lewis (Cleaning) Services Ltd owed S.M.L (Cleaning) Services Ltd £20,983 (2016 : £17,783.

During the year the company paid rent of £5,400 (2016: £5,400) to G Gilbert Esq, who is the sole director.

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the micro-entity provisions of the Companies Act 2006 and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

For the financial year ending 31 March 2017 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

Director's responsibilities:

•	The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its accounts for the year in question in accordance with section 476; and
•	The director acknowledges his responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
