The company has no income and expenditure in it's own right. All transactions in the year relate to maintenance of the common parts of the property in accordance with the lease. Income and expenditure arising from these transactions is shown in separate service charge accounts for the property that do not form part of the annual accounts of the company and are not filed at Companies House. Service charges collected are held on trust for the purpose of meeting the relevant costs in relation to the property in accordance with the provisions of section 42 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987.
The company has taken advantage of the exemption from filing a copy of the Profit and Loss Account with the Registrar of Companies.
