For the year ending 30 June 2024 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

Company activities and impact

The company is set up to support ethnic minority communities in Devon. Activities include: cultural celebrations, including arts and religious festivals; drop-ins and other activities that cater for the needs of those on the fringes of society. The community has benefitted by the reduction of isolation, the improvement of health and well being; building of better inter and cross - cultural relationships; promoting the interests of ethnic minority communities in Devon; and by working for the benefit of society as a whole. Via the partnership created by Diverse Devon Together (DDT), ethnic minority communities are becoming more visible in Devon. Diverse Devon Together has begun to build partnerships with organisations such as Citizens’ Advice, statutory bodies, organisations serving ethnic minority communities and sister organisations. DDT has received an Awards for All from the Lottery to support the development of this project.

Consultation with stakeholders

Diverse Devon Together (DDT) is a partnership of 12 ethnic minority grass roots community organisations in Devon. Each organisation is represented on the Board of DDT. The Full Board meets bi-monthly when the management, development, needs and aspirations of these communities are discussed. A Management Committee has been appointed to lead the organisation and this committee meets on alternate months to the Board meetings to work on plans to carry out the goals and activities identified by the Board and to make recommendations to the Board for the conduct of its activities. The committee also has close oversite of the management of finances,
