NOTES TO THE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS |
FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2018 |
1. | STATUTORY INFORMATION |
Klenitise Limited is a |
company's registered number and registered office address can be found on the Company Information |
page. |
The presentation currency of the financial statements is the Pound Sterling (£). |
Monetary amounts in these financial statements are rounded to the nearest £. |
2. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
Basis of preparing the financial statements |
Significant judgements and estimates |
In the application of the company's accounting policies, the directors are required to make judgements, |
estimates and assumptions about the carrying amounts of assets and liabilities that are not readily |
apparent from other sources. The estimates and associated assumptions are based on historical |
experience and other factors which are considered to be relevant. Actual results may differ from these |
estimates. |
The estimates and underlying assumptions are reviewed on an ongoing basis. Revisions to accounting |
estimates are recognised in the period in which the estimate is revised if the revision only effects that |
period, or in the period of the revision and future periods if the revision affects both current and future |
periods. |
The following are the critical judgements that the directors have made in the process of applying the |
company's accounting policies and that have the most significant effect on the amounts recognised in |
the financial statements. |
Impairment of debtors |
The company makes an estimate of the recoverable value of trade debtors, based on management's |
knowledge of customers and historical experience. |
Financial assets and liabilities |
Basic financial assets, which include trade debtors, other debtors and cash and bank balances, are |
initially measured at transaction price unless the arrangement constitutes a financing transaction, |
where the transaction is measured at the present value of the future receipts discounted at a market |
rate of interest. |
Basic financial liabilities, including trade and other creditors, are initially recognised at transaction price |
unless the arrangement constitutes a financing transaction, where the debt instrument is measured at |
the present value of the future payments discounted at a market rate of interest. |
Equity instruments |
Equity instruments issued by the company are recorded at the proceeds received, net of direct issue |
costs. |

2. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES - continued |
Taxation |
Taxation for the year comprises current and deferred tax. Tax is recognised in the Income Statement, |
except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in |
equity. |
Current or deferred taxation assets and liabilities are not discounted. |
Current tax |
Current tax is recognised at the amount of tax payable using the tax rates and laws that have been |
enacted or substantively enacted by the balance sheet date. |
Deferred tax |
Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at |
the balance sheet date. |
Timing differences arise from the inclusion of income and expenses in tax assessments in periods |
different from those in which they are recognised in financial statements. Deferred tax is measured |
using tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the year end and that are |
expected to apply to the reversal of the timing difference. |
Unrelieved tax losses and other deferred tax assets are recognised only to the extent that it is probable |
that they will be recovered against the reversal of deferred tax liabilities or other future taxable profits. |
Foreign currencies |
Assets and liabilities in foreign currencies are translated into sterling at the rates of exchange ruling at |
the balance sheet date. |
Transactions in foreign currencies are translated into sterling at the rate of exchange ruling at the date |
of transaction. |
Exchange differences are taken into account in arriving at the operating result. |
Leasing commitments |
Rentals paid under operating leases are charged to the income statement on a straight line basis over |
the lease term. |
Going concern |
The company has recorded a loss during the year and has net liabilities at the balance sheet date. The |
directors have assessed the current financial position of the company and its likely future cashflows. |
The directors have a reasonable expectation that the company has adequate resources to continue in |
operational existence for the foreseeable future. Accordingly, they continue to adopt the going concern |
basis in preparing the financial statements. |
