1. Accounting policies
Basis of measurement and preparation
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102 Turnover policy
Sales comprise the fair value of the consideration received or receivable for the sale of goods and rendering of services in the ordinary course of
Company’s activities. Sales are presented, net of value-added tax, rebates and discounts.Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy
Depreciation has been provided at the following rates in order to write off the assets over their estimated useful lives.
Plant and machinery 18% NBV
Motor vehicles 6%-18% NBVIntangible fixed assets amortisation policy
Freehold land is not depreciated.
Depreciation on other items of property, plant and equipment is calculated using the straight-line method to allocate their depreciable amounts
over their estimated useful lives as follows:
Useful lives
Leasehold land 60 to 99 years
Buildings 25 to 50 years
Plant and equipment 5 to 15 yearsValuation information and policy
Stock is valued at the lower of cost and net realisable value.
