The average number of persons, including directors, employed by the company during the year was as follows:

As a direct consequence of COVID-19 and in accordance with UK government guidelines the company scaled back its operations on 23rd March 2020.

At the date of approval of the accounts it has not been possible to ascertain the full financial impact of the pandemic as the business has just started back with full time work.

The directors have considered the potential future impact of the pandemic and although the overall economy may be uncertain, they have reasonable expectation that the business will return to full operational existence in the near future and that the company has adequate resources to continue. On this basis the accounts have been prepared on a going concern basis.

Phil Jarvis Limited is a private company limited by shares incorporated in England and Wales. The registered office is 16 Pine Road, Ormesby, Middlesbrough, TS7 9DH.

For the year ended 31 July 2020 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year in question in accordance with section 476.

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the micro-entity provisions and in accordance with FRS 105 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable to the Micro-entities Regime' and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.
