1. Accounting policies

Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts

The financial statements have been prepared under the historic cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008). The financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis

Turnover policy

Turnover represents amounts chargeable, net of value added tax, in respect of the sale of goods and services to customers.

Other accounting policies

Stock is valued at the lower of cost and net realisable value, after due regard for obsolete and slow moving stocks. Net realisable value is based on the selling price less anticipated costs to completion and selling costs.

Consultancy services and stock funding are provided by the company’s shareholders. N C Hunt was paid fees totalling £3,096 and Oxford Sports Cars Ltd was paid fees totalling £53,557 and interest totalling £3,211. The loan balance due to Oxford Sports Cars Ltd at the year-end was £415,225.
