Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates, value added tax and other sales taxes. |

Leasehold property recorded in the accounts is investment property. The properties are recorded at cost which in the Director's opinion is similar to market value at the balance sheet date. As recording the investment property at market value is of prime importance, rather than the systematic recording of annual depreciation, no depreciation is provided. |

Work in progress is valued at the lower of cost and net realisable value. |
Cost is calculated using the first-in, first-out method and includes all purchase, transport, and handling costs in bringing stocks to their present location and condition. |
