In order to assist you to fulfil your duties under the Companies Act 2006, we have prepared for your approval the financial statements of Atholl Countrywear Limited for the year ended 31st May 2021 which comprise the Profit and Loss Account, Balance Sheet, Statement of Changes in Equity and the related notes from the company's accounting records and from information and explanations you have given us. |

1. | STATUTORY INFORMATION |
Atholl Countrywear Limited is a private company limited by share capital, incorporated by England and Wales registration number 03033922. The address of the principle place of business was Milton of Crathes, Banchory AB31 5QH. The address of the registered office is 1 City Road East, Manchester, M15 4PN. |
2. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
Basis of preparing the financial statements |
During the year, the company ceased all trading activities and settled outstanding liabilities to the extent that it was able to. |
Turnover |
Turnover represents amounts recognised by the company in respect of goods provided, exclusive of Value Added Tax and trade discounts.Turnover principally consists of the provision of countrywear clothing and accessories, which are recognised at the point of which the goods are provided. |
Tangible fixed assets |
Tangible fixed assets are stated at historical cost less accumulated depreciation and any accumulated impairment losses. Historical cost includes expenditure that is directly attributable to bringing the asset to the location and condition necessary for it to be capable of operating in the manner intended by management. |
Depreciation is charged so as to allocate the cost of assets less their residual value over their estimated useful lives, using either a straight line or reducing balance method, as indicated below. |

In such cases, the receivables are stated at cost less impairment losses for bad and doubtful debts. |

Trade and other creditors are initially recognised at fair value and thereafter stated at amortised cost using the effective interest method unless the effect of discounting would be immaterial, in which case they are stated at cost. |
Cash and cash equivalents |
Cash and cash equivalents comprise cash at bank and in hand. |
