| 1. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
| Accounting convention |
| The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial |
| Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008). |
| Turnover |
| Turnover represents income from dental services, consultancy, lecturing and lab work. Income from dental services is |
| recognised when treatment is carried out. Income from consultancy, lecturing and lab work is recognised according to the |
| period to which it relates. |
| Goodwill |
| Intangible fixed assets |
| Other intangible assets, being the amount incurred in connection with the initial purchase of a franchise agreement and |
| associated legal fees, is being amortised evenly over its estimated useful life of five years. |
| Deferred tax |
| Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the balance sheet date. |
| Hire purchase and leasing commitments |
