Accounting convention |
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance |
with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008). |
Turnover |
Turnover represents bar takings, net of value added tax. |

Fixtures and fittings | - |
The company has not depreciated freehold buildings, which is a departure from the requirements of |
the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008). The freehold buildings are |
maintained to a high standard and it is the opinion of the directors that the residual values would be |
sufficiently high to make any depreciation charge immaterial. |
Stocks |
Stocks are valued at the lower of cost and net realisable value, after making due allowance for |
obsolete and slow moving items. |
