The directors are satisfied that the company is entitled to exemption from the requirement to obtain an audit under section 480 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to dormant companies.

Members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Act.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

The accounts have been prepared in accordance with the special provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

1	Accounting policies
	The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in compliance with the ICEAW technical release 3/11 which recomends a clear distinction should be made between the transactions of the management company and the transactions belonging to the statutory trust.
	In accordance with the recommended practice by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, the residents' association holds the residents' service charges in trust. Consequently none of the service charges or expenditure are reported as part of the company activity.
