1. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
Accounting convention |
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the |
Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective January 2015). |
Turnover |
Turnover comprises amounts charged to tenants for their contribution to expenses. |
Repairs and maintenance |
Provision is made for the companys contractual obligation to repair and maintain the property and in the opinion |
of the directors is fairly included at the amount set aside for the purpose and unspent at the balance sheet date. |
Freehold property |
The company owns the freehold of 16 Oxford Road, Exeter. After taking account of the rights of the |
leaseholders, who are also required to be the members of the company, no residual value remains in the |
freehold, which is accordingly included at a valuation of £NIL. |
