| 1. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
| Accounting convention |
| The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention as modified by the revaluation of certain |
| assets and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008). |

| Properties held for investment are shown at their open market value based on annual valuations. The valuations are |
| undertaken by the Directors in consultation with independent valuers. Aggregate surpluses or deficits are transferred to a |
| revaluation reserve, any permanent diminution in the value of an investment property to below its carrying value is charged |
| to the profit and loss account. The Directors consider the adoption of Statement of Standard Accounting Practice No 19 in |
| order to give a true and fair view. |

| Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the balance sheet date. |
