The company is entitled to exemption from audit under Section 480 of the Companies Act 2006 for the year ended 31 December 2016.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2016 in accordance with Section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for:

(a)	ensuring that the company keeps accounting records which comply with Sections 386 and 387 of the Companies Act 2006 and

(b)

preparing financial statements which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the company as at the end of each financial year and of its surplus or deficit for each financial year in accordance with the requirements of Sections 394 and 395 and which otherwise comply with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 relating to financial statements, so far as applicable to the company.

The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Part 15 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

INCOME STATEMENT

FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2016

During the financial year the company has not traded and has received no income and incurred no expenditure. Consequently, the company has made neither a surplus nor a deficit.

1.	STATUTORY INFORMATION

Alexandra Park (Tipton) Management Company Limited is a private company, limited by guarantee , registered

in England and Wales. The company's registered number and registered office address can be found on the

2.	ACCOUNTING POLICIES

Basis of preparing the financial statements

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A "Small Entities" of Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" and the Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention.

Membership

The company is limited by guarantee and does not have a share capital. Every member of the company

undertakes to contribute to the assets of the company in the event of it being wound up while he/she is a member

or within one year afterwards for payment of the debts and liabilities of the company contracted before he/she

ceases to be a member and the costs, charges and expenses of winding up and the adjustment of the rights of the

contributories among themselves such amount as may be required for not exceeding £1.

As described on the Balance Sheet you are responsible for the preparation of the financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2016 set out on pages three to four and you consider that the company is exempt from an audit.

In accordance with your instructions, we have compiled these unaudited financial statements in order to assist you to fulfil your statutory responsibilities, from the accounting records and information and explanations supplied to us.
