Financial commitments, guarantees and contingencies

The Balance Sheet at 30 September 2017 shows net current liabilities of £545,569 (2016: £593,150) and net assets of £224,917 (2016: £135,715). The company meets its day to day working capital requirements through the support of external funding. On the basis of the assurances from the external funders that they will continue to support the company, the directors consider that the company will continue to have sufficient resources to meet its day to day obligations. The directors, therefore, consider it appropriate to prepare financial statements on the going concern basis. The financial statements do not include any adjustments that would result from the withdrawal of the support of the external funders.

 

There is at present ongoing discussions with regards to the sale of the properties. The bank have agreed to extend the existing interest only overdraft facilities while these discussions continue. The directors hope to have matter concluded before January 2019,

Average employees

The average number of persons (including directors) employed by the company during the year was 2 (2016 - 2).

Greater Pollok Properties Limited is a private company limited by shares incorporated in Scotland. The registered office is 7 West George Street, Glasgow, G2 1BA.

 

The directors of the company have elected not to include a copy of the profit and loss account within the financial statements.

For the year ended 30 September 2017 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year in question in accordance with section 476.

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the micro-entity provisions and in accordance with FRS 105 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable to the Micro-entities Regime' and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.
