The company has no income or expenditure in its own right. All transactions in the year relate to maintainence of the common parts in accordance with the lease. Income and expenditure arising from these transactions is shown in separate service charge accounts for the property that do not form part of the annual accounts of the company and are not filed at Companies House. All service charge monies received from the residents of Barrow, Bury Road and The Green are held on trust for the residents.

Barrow (The Limes) Management Company Limited is a private company limited by guarantee and not having share capital. Each member is liable to contribute £1 to the assets of the company in the event of its winding up. It is incorporated in England within the United Kingdom. The address of the registered office is given on the company information page of these financial statements.
The financial statements are presented in sterling which is the functional currency of the company and rounded to the nearest £.

Average number of employees

The average monthly number of employees, including directors, during the year was 0 (2017: 0).

The directors consider that the Company is entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 and members have not required the Company to obtain an audit for the year in question in accordance with section 476 of Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to entities subject to the micro-entities' regime.

The financial statements have been delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The financial statements were approved and authorised for issue by the board and were signed on its behalf on 24 October 2018.
